Hi
My name is Julius and I know you have choices in who to hire to cleanout your property and remove whatever types of furniture, materials, junk and debris you may have. At first it sounds easy, just call around and get the lowest price. Simple. Please bear with me for a second as we explain the other questions you need to ask and why it’s important you ask them.
First, at Freedom Hauling & Demolition, we are the friendliest junk removal company in the Houston area. We show up in nice, clean, professional vehicles, wearing clean company shirts and are the nicest people in our industry. We can come any time you need us, even in the middle of the night and on weekends (nights and weekends are by appointment to give our staff advance notice) and perhaps even on short notice if it’s an emergency situation, such as a disaster. We show up on time and work quickly and quietly to allow you to get back to the more important things in your life with a minimum of stress. We also do our best to support our local community by donating usable items to local charities and recycling as much as possible. We can give you a free quote over the phone or in person, and our prices are just about the lowest in town. Oh, and our staff is fully insured, bonded, and paid on the books. All of this sounds pretty straight forward to you until you read below and see what happens if you don’t ask all of the right questions.
Did You Know …
If you do not ask the right questions something that sounds simple could turn into a stressful and costly mistake. For example, let’s say you forget to ask what kind of vehicle they will arrive in. They could show up in an old, beat-up, rust covered pickup truck dripping oil all over your driveway. They may have to make multiple trips if it’s a big job, which could result in you standing around wasting your time waiting. If you don’t ask what they are wearing, they could show up dressed in a manner that would not exactly impress your family or the neighbors. But those are the little problems.
The bigger problems come when you don’t ask where they are going to dump your stuff. If you go with someone who offers you a price that’s too low to be true, they may be getting to that rate by refusing to pay fees at the local dumps and recycling centers. They may, instead, dump your stuff a few blocks away by the side of the street (It happens, frequently!). This could result in government fines and you will still be responsible for the cleanup – which means more money out of your pocket. They rarely donate or recycle because that’s an added cost for them.
Oh, and then the scary part starts. What if their workers are being paid under the table and are not insured. What if they slip, fall, drop something on their legs, hurt their back or have been drinking. By state law, if you hire an unlicensed contractor whose staff is working off the clock, you could end up paying their medical bills and even a lifetime of disability payments. Yes, you could save a small amount of money by shopping around, but the important question is… would you prefer to pay a low rate to an honest company that does the job right or try to save a few dollars and take big risks with an unlicensed company.

Reviews
If you want to compare companies, there is no better way to do it than to look at the reviews on Google. We have hundreds of reviews on Google and all of them are 5 stars. They are all from real people (no fake reviews where a company posts reviews about itself while disguising their identity). That should make hiring us an easy choice.
If you have questions or need a quote, please feel free to give us a call.
